Hitachi Asia Ltd is the winner of ‘SAP Awards for Customer Excellence 2009 – Best SAP Business One Project’

   
SINGAPORE – March 17, 2009 – Hitachi Asia Ltd, Business Solution Integration Division (BSI), a leading regional systems integrator, together with their customer, KTL Offshore Pte Ltd, have been awarded the ‘SAP Awards for Customer Excellence 2009 – Best SAP Business One Project.’

SAP Awards for Customer Excellence is an annual SAP Award organized by SAP in recognition of outstanding SAP-related projects and initiatives completed in the past 24 months. This award is open to all SAP customers. Judging criteria include the impact & contribution to customer’s business, strategic benefits & project returns (ROI), project innovation & change management as well as teamwork demonstrated by customer, partner & SAP.

With over 90 years of experience, KTL Offshore is a leader in the oil and gas support services sector. Once a traditional family business, it has since grown and enhanced its expertise to serve its 1,000 clients in Asia Pacific.

With a high business volume, KTL Offshore found it hard to keep track of its inventory accurately. Its previous business system also placed limitations on the company's reporting capability.

With SAP Business One, the customer can now get real-time inventory updates. This enabled the management to make better decisions based on accurate information. Improvements in access control also enhanced corporate governance and data integrity.
